Saw a goth/emotional girl on the tube to other day very cute and I noticed a fair few self harm scars, was tempted to ask if things were better now as most seemed old but I'm a bit shy.

I think she may have though I was judgementally staring though but I was lost more analysing the scars, wondering why some had clearly been stitched others not and how come they were very spread out each event separated by a long sitting of clear skin as opposed to mine which are all laid up on top of each other in one space.

I always want to give emos/goths a cuddle ^_^

But, to be honest. I love any alternative look. To me that means someone has their own sense of style, a personality unique to their own and not 'dressing' up to please others but themselves.

It is....

Loads of pics online to give a flavour of the event (Google image WGW Goth etc)

For us it's always the (twin) highlights of the year...April and Haloween

5 years ago I'd never heard of it, but it's a massive event... Same with the Lincoln Steampunk festival next month (biggest in the World)...you only seem to find out about these 'alt' events by word of mouth....

Anyway, lots of fun to be had with like minded people

I dyed my hair pink (hence my profile name) for the first time at 47. I've got into 50's circle dresses and have one in a skull pattern. I've also found a fabulous silver choker covered in skulls.

I've never had as many compliments from both M/F since changing my look, which I find interesting given I'm in my late 40's (also very gratifying!!)
