"I used to row for tideway years ago as a junior, had my own boat and all, but never won a medal so I was 'retired'! Miss it though. Still have sturdy legs tho! " Ah - good old 'Scullers' - nice club too!

"Yes, I've never felt as strong as when I was rowing, sturdy legs, I have to get my trousers two sizes bigger than my waist to get my legs in. " Ha - I know that feeling! 'Fashionable' cuts are not built for legs that have spent time on a slide! I'm glad I'm not the only one! Were you a tideway oarsman?

"Cool - the 'brains' of the boat Which river did you cox on? Remember rowing in Evesham once - course like a dogs leg " Identifying the river would identify the club I used to row for, so I'll not be doing that.

Most recently I used to row on Edgbaston Reser, but before that as a youngster it was down by Donnington Bridge, since I've moved out here I've just started again on Lake Washington.
