When did society decide men were attracted to flowers, fruits and the smell of cotton?

Interesting post. I do tend to be quite obssessive about cleanliness in that area despite reassurances from others

I wash down there with water only. I use bath cream or shower cream everywhere else but never in my cracks. It's not healthy for it. I'd say my cunt smells like cunt. Been told it doesn't taste of anything.

I saw an experiment once where they blindfolded men and women and told them to smell people, both men and women, who did not have soap or any other chemical smell on them. The aim was to see if the individuals who were blindfolded could tell if the person they smelled was a man or a woman. The results were that the blindfolded people, both men and women, were wrong as often as they were right. Apparently, according to that one experiment, which is by no means conclusive evidence, smells help us pick out individuals we know or are attracted to, but not sex. Go figure.

Humans sense of smell is no longer developed enough to pick up pheromones any more.

Also a now famous study conducted by Sir Robert Winston that suggested in a blind test his attraction to the smell of a woman was proportional to the genetic difference between them.
