so what do you normally look for in a person when arranging fun do you go by the looks or personality or a bit of both ?

Had some that on looks alone we'd have met but they were a special kind of nuts and we declined.

However if not attracted physically then wouldn't even instigate a chat.

Personality is a big factor for me but I don't get aroused by somebody I'm not attracted to so I guess ultimately it's looks I go for if I have to pick one.

looks gets my attention personally keeps it

you don't know somebodies personality on here till you talk but if I don't fancy them I'm not likely to talk to find out what kind if person they are

but even if I so fancy them personally will make or break the deal

Surely on fab the first meet is generally based on looks as that's all you can go on.

Hence often social meet at first to check out personality....or if they are actually a deranged axe murderer....... There isn't a box for that on preferences...

We have to be attracted to someone for us to meet them, personality does go along way too but we cant sleep with someone based on personality alone, have to be physically attracted to them as well as mentally.

However i do also find that i can look at someone and think they are ok then chat with them and they become more attractive to me.

Im rambling now. So to conclude, both? Lol.

As everyone else has said - both.

I find it really hard to tell from photos and an online chat though. I'm sure I'm turning down guys who I'd fancy the pants off in real life, and I'm meeting guys who I don't fancy in real life!

There definitely needs to be a physical attraction otherwise its a complete non starter.

If there is. then its also important for me to like the person/couple and their attitude. I don't always have to feel that there is a real connection in terms of personality, however, if I fundamentally don't like them then I won't proceed with arranging a meet.

A bit of both but looks are way more important

Personality would be equally, if not more important if I was looking for a long term relationship - but i'm not.
