Is swinging regional ?

I hear and read all the time about people ( mainly single guys ) finding it hard to find meets !

I've never found this myself and there's a healthy amount of swingers around my are ( cheshire )

So I was wondering if some regions are more reserved. ?

I think some of it is a bit of a grass is greener thing. But it makes sense that in areas of high population, lots of towns clustered together, you will get more potential for people to meet than if you live in a hamlet 12 miles from the nearest pub.

I would imagine that there are more swingers in the East Midlands region than anywhere else given that it's only slightly smaller than Asia

There seem to be a lot of attractive swingers in lincs, or at least that I've come across, but apart from London, the next main swinging centre appears to be the north west - Manchester, Wigan, Preston, Blackpool!!

Yeah it's really active here. I'm in the middle of loads of towns and a couple of cities.

We find Liverpool is quite busy but find we get a lot of views/fabs/invites from Birmingham too

You would think so wouldn't you. However this is not true. Offering the fact I'm happy to travel still pays no dividends. There is next to no scene down here so I know I'd have to travel if I want to meet. But still get told 'you're too far away' (Southampton / Pompey)

Not much happening for us in our area, tried to find a couple to play with this weekend and failed miserably! But on a local search there are literally thousands of people within a 40 mile radius to us who are members!!!

Maybe we're just butt ugly!

Yes....i always assumed it's because I have specific tastes......the problem with salisbury is that there are many bored soldiers....once you take those out of the equation there isn't much else going on

I'm in Hampshire, apart from the fact that most of the armed forces are based here, It's feels like 15 blokes to one fem or couple, blokes numbers have increased over the yrs but fems and couple numbers haven't much, bit of a numbers game now, and if your not gym fit and tattooed you don't get a look in any more, and I'm ok with it, two places I've never visited and proberly won't tattoo shop and a gym, I'm hoping one day skinny and no tats will come into fashion
