what's wrong?

Hey everyone. Been on the site a fair while now. Spoken to a few members, but unfortunately am still looking for my first meet. It seems everyone I add as a friend just ignores me, those who do accept I message but No-one ever seems interested. I hope someone can tell me what's wrong with me :/ or what I'm doin wrong.

Read profiles before sending friends invites or at least message them first if you get a reply then maybe send a friends invite,i said read profiles as a lot of people wont accept random invites of people they dont know including us,we only accept them if we have met or are going to meet.

Yeah I'll bear in mind the advice about the friend invites. Just always used it as a bit of an icebreaker.

Ok ok so 7 weeks isn't amazingly long, but thought I would have had something by now lol.

Now the nice bunch are out of the way...

Friend requests are not icebreakers! Messages are icebreakers, winks can be (but should be used with caution, as not everyone likes them).

And 7 weeks is the blink of an eye on here!

An icebreaker is a nice well thought out mail, a friend invite from someone we have never met, never spoken to in chat, never spoken by e-mail is just a friend collector in our book and one for the block list and delete buttons.

Like everyone has said, patience, it can take months and even years to get your first meet, socials, forums, chatrooms, clubs and patience are the key.

You get out what your willing to put into it.
