I choose to show my friends list.

I have never quite understood a reason not to. I am proud to call each and every person on that list a 'fab friend'. Some of them I have already met, some of them are people that I have plans to meet and others are people that I chat to on here but would love to bump into if ever the opportunity arose.

Given the above, why wouldn't I allow my list of friends to be seen?

If, unlike me, you hide your list of friends, why do you choose to do so?

We had a friend be abusive to me on here as he saw a veri from someone we had played with and didn't like it - so we blocked him and now keep our friends and verifications private so it doesn't happen again - it made me feel like crap.

Perhaps I'm being naïve, but what 'info' can they get, other than who you happen to be friends with on here?

For example: someone you've met but don't want to meet again, could try to scupper your chances of a meet with others on your list, by starting daft rumours.

Even someone you've never met could do this. Some people are just malicious for malicious sake.

We learned this pretty early on in our fab journey.

I hide mine...It's tough enough on here already with some ladies assuming i'm popular & have the pick of the litter just because I happen to have a toned physique, without them seeing a hotty on my friends list as well for them to do that silly comparison shite on before deciding to reply or not

I hide mine basically because i see the friends list as pointless saying that I have very few friends on here again because i find it pointless, I see no gain by adding somebody to your friends list or by showing it

Are you using a mobile?

friends list don't show on mobiles unless someone knows something I don't

You can not see a friends list on a mobile. Only on iPad or computer

I think you have to log on via a pc to see the friends list (which I mainly do). Apparently (and I may be wrong) this facility may not be available when logging on with your mobile..

Well, in my case that would presumably mean other men messaging me to try and glean such information....why on earth would I entertain replying to such messages (not that I've ever had any)??

I keep my friends list and verifications private as there is a lot of people on here who think it's a competition plus my ex has found me on here a couple of times and I wouldn't want him causing hassle to others when it's non of his business

You are looking to meet 18 - 50 year old couples and single women .

The youngest on your friends list is 32 .

Except a TV , but you aren't looking for them .

Shall I go on , or can you see the issue if someone were to use your friends list to see whether they may be suitable .....

We had problems with people messaging our friends looking for party invites. In the end we switched certain people to the hotlist to stop them getting pestered by wannabe's who couldn't cut it.

Shame as like the OP we consider our friends list to consist of exactly that.

I hid my friends list (select few) and most veris to prevent hassle along the lines of "you met that twat in Brighton, why not me?" type messages. It has happened. Although when I read the word 'twat' relating to me, I change it to 'gawjus hunk'

For us the list is people we have fucked or are planning to fuck. So we keep it hidden to be discreet on their behalf just in case.

Veris we've started to just show the most recent and hide the rest. Might change our mind on that though.

I access the site via my mobile so I didn't even know my friends list was visable until someone asked me why the hell I was friends with certain people on it.

It occurred to me then it was better to hide it.

Because it's nobody elses business who we're friends with

We have had people trawl our list and message people suggesting that we would recommend them as a meet, single men who don't seem to understand that we aren't looking to meet them become a right nuisance because we've refused a request but they can see we have other single men on our list...It works for us to keep it hidden and after all we run our profile how we wish to...

I show a small proportion of my veris but not my friends list !

I only keep a small friends list and ive also come across a few bunny boilers too so why give these insecure fools a vehicle to cause trouble with ! I.e contacting friends to bad mouth u just because youve shunned them
