Personally I had an ingrowing toenail when I was younger which after they cut it now grows diagonally and it makes me very self conscious.

If I'm asked to take my socks of I do but I don't like to for that reason.

Well I take you mean for sex? I'm in the socks off brigade. But what about in clubs? I take them off their too, but find the whole taking off the shoes and socks one of the less sexy activities. And then finding them afterwards.
