Hi all,

We have held a couple of private parties before and really enjoyed them. We want to do it again but have a little bit of a worry. The last party was held in our flat which was fully furnished and looked quite smart (if we say so ourselves!). The thing is we have moved this year and although we now have a really nice big house it needs work doing to it. We have a spare room which we have turned into a play room with sex swing hanging from the ceiling and a massage table etc. The lounge has been decorated and looks ok. Having said that our kitchen is small (will be knocked through when money allows) and basic and a dining room that we havent done anything with.

Do you think things like this would put people off coming to a private party? We know that setting the right atmosphere is important and would love to host again but worry that the lack of decorating in some areas would put people off.

cant see why as long as its clean

just explain you are renovating when you do invite

if people are that shallow do you want them there ....

im sure if you say on the invite there wont be a problem and people who came last time will understand have a good one

Looking as good as you both do I dont think too many people will be looking at the house decor, shame we a wee bit out your age range, we would love to come and give some DIY tips

I think for us its a case of when we go to clubs we look at how well they are turned out etc. For us the devil is often in the detail.

I know we aren't a club, but we would still like to be known as people who throw a good quality party.
