FabSwingers.com forum: Talking the lingo

Hi readers. I am a 31 year old man, genuinely interested in the swinging scene but i am relatively new to it all. I've already done a couple of meets but would like broaden my horizons. So, my question to all you wonderful swinging veterans is this; is there a particular type of 'swinging language' that i should address people with who take my interest? I am aware there is some sort of code wording for certain things (i only found out today what keeping it vanilla means). However, my knowledge on this topic, as you can see, isnt very comprehensive.

No code words, just treat people with respect. There's no right answer for what to say in a mail. Some people like long mails, some like short. Some like humour, some are very serious.

Just be yourself.

If you want to learn more about swinging and the crazy people that do it... read the forums.

Oh and if you see a phrase you've never heard of... Google it with great care!
