I want to book a hotel meet never organised one before it will be half way between us in exeter is there any chain hotels that are best for this sort of thing and how does it work with guests?

Do I just get a double room for 1 person or do I say there is more people.

Google will help your hotel search. All of the major chains have sites.

Just book one room for two adults ..... second name is optional for most.

Most hotels wont bat an eyelid if two of you walk in.

If it was me in this situation I would check in alone. Then either go and get the others and go in. Or send them a text with thr room number and just head to the room with then 2 mins behind.

We booked a room for a meet for 3 adults. Travel lodge if I remember rightly.

Reception didn't bat an eyelid, all turned up together.

Just book for 2 adults, as previous comment text room number and they just walk in. Just get a few smirks when you check out same day as checked in
