As my mum would say when I was younger "your rooms a shit tip!"

Got me to thinking, why do people take pictures with piles of crap everywhere?,

Do they not realise that people will be looking at them, I for one wouldn't put a picture up with a pile of clothes or scattered bits of tat all over the place.

Feel better now, after a little rant lol a problem shared is a problem halved

Just saw a woman on cam, tidying her bedroom (I think she thought it was tidying) shifted one pile of crap from one part of the room, into another lol, priceless!!!

Get out of jail card....sorry if not everyone agrees just my opinion, before anyone starts in on me lol

Its a bit like people with unwashed dogs in the house . after a while they dont notice the smell so i guess they dont realize that visitors do . live in mess for long enough and i guess folk dont notice that either .

No i entirely understand, been to meet a couple and their place was awful, i know mines not the best as ive 2 kittens who have been quite ill but i do scrub the area clean.

makes another point too that i work 50 hrs pw and still do housework, my mum is a housewife and she definitely belongs on How clean is your house as there is a pathway through from the lounge door to the tv, nowhere to sit, every worktop in the kitchen is covered in stuff, yet she moans about it ffs. Whats worse is that when she is gone, it will be up to us to sort it out

I'm kinda messy by nature and hate cleaning the house... which is why I have a cleaner. She won't tidy so it forces me to keep the house neat - not easy with a teenage son and his mates being here. And its a nice feeling coming home from work after she's been round.

I dont have meets here, my house clean and fresh ( plenty of plugs ins too) Paranoi from having horses, but dont have dogs .....

But my house is very small, tidy when de cluttered but have a room full of clean washing than needs putting away and boxes of things, but as my room also doubles as an office things get pretty manic sometimes.

I wish i had the room to be immaculate ....... But very hygenenic with wood floors all the way through downstairs ( people tend to forget to take of their wellies) so easily mopable.

Make my own plug in fragrances from essential oils, tends to stop me sneezing from the shop bought ones too.

My home is functional more than a show home.

As a professional cleaner (who used to work with horses, for Ponymad), i feel well qualified to comment!

Its quite pointless having a cleaner who spends half the cleaning time you paid her for, tidying up, rather than cleaning!

Small houses are harder to keep clutter free, mainly because there is less storage space to hide the clutter in!

People with pets, just need to be aware of their propensity for shedding fluff and odour!

And finally if you are having a meet at home, think "hotel" for standards of cleanliness, hygiene and clutter, simples!

I work full time and yet like to think I keep the house tidy everywhere. The only exception is one bedroom that I have as a junk room, but I wouldn't dream of conducting meets amongst that clutter of shite.....

I went a clients house once: absolutely immaculate but God did it stink. They had an old dog.

Obviously they didn't notice but my eyes watered!!

I do not accommodate as I am a messy person with a messy house, and it stresses me big time having to tidy it.

I do make an effort to make sure the background of my pics are respectable though.

I only meet people with OCD.. solves the issue, albeit, cuts down on volume of meets.

I agree 100%!

I don't live in a tip, take pride in my personal hygiene so why would I want to go into someone's tip, not sure when they last changed their sheets!!

Kudos to those that can feel horny in a dump...I can't!

I am a bit of a clean freak and I absolutely hate clutter. I wouldnt ever take pics with an untidy background because I myself focus on backgrounds as well as the subject. It puts me off if i see baby things in the background of very explicit pics.

In relation to accommodating, we dont do that. I like my swinging life to be away from my home, something completely separate. We tend to meet couples in clubs, or if we are lucky a party or a hotel, I wouldnt want to see my everyday things around me whilst swinging

It is not about nosying into how other people live, We would not be able to relax enough to play in somewhere that was dirty and unhygienic even if we wanted to!

We take pride in both our personal hygiene and that of our home, if someone does not, then they are not the right people for us.

little house on the praire

My home is clean and tidy apart from my bedroom badly needs decorating but its still clean. I could never have someone here and think my house was less than clean. I do however put a plastic sheet on my bed with an old (clean) quilt otherwise everything would be soaking

I couldnt even think of accomodating living in a "shit tip"

So dont.

I always make sure everything is clean and tidy at all times.

I Dont want imaculate when visiting anyone but it has to smell clean and look clean.

There really is no excuse for dirty homes.

we went to a pvt meet at a cpls place last year and was really looking forward to it

when we go there though the carpets were filthy and the bathroom was covered in grime and hair

im afraid i told them we werent playing and we left soon afterwards

untidy i dont mind - but if there is dirt around it makes me wonder about other types of hygiene
