...awful word when used out of context...so why oh why is there an epidemic of people using it to abbreviate 'could not'...is couldn't not short enough!!!!

I cunt see it

I cunt be bothered

I cunt do that

I even heard it on a television programme..????

Get some decorum before the English language is killed off..

Cue..endless cunt jokes...

Cunt isn't an awful word, it's brilliant! Casually chuck it in a sentence, use it as a term of endearment, it's an all-rounder that enriches every conversation. Never seen it as an abbreviation.

Where we live it is part of the language and isn't even considered to be the same word. Regional dialects are what make English the language what it is. I'd worry more about the deplorable spelling, grammar and syntax that make people appear less than intelligent.

I agree fully another one I've noticed a lot is been instead of being on otherwise grammaticaly correct profiles.

I disagree, but I think due to upbringing. Cunt was the one word that was off limits even when we were classed as old enough to swear (rule was you can swear when you're paying rent)
