Considering a name change

I've been giving my profile name some thought over the past week or so and wondering if perhaps it might be time for a change.

I've become quite aware, from various posts in the forum, that a poor choice of user name can make the difference between a message getting read or not etc.

There was a thread a couple of months ago about user names and what had led people to choose the one they have and someone commented that mine wasn't that bad, but I can't help thinking that it may be ever so slightly on the over provocative side.

My dilemma though is that I feel that, as i've had it a while, people have come to recognise it (on forums, chat etc). It's not the first user name i've had here (my first was rather dull and I was even messaged about it encouraging me to be a little saucier) hence my degree of reluctance to change it again, as I remember having to explain who I was to people that i'd been conversing with.

I'm not looking for suggestions of what I should change it to, but rather opinions on whether you all think it needs changing. Is it TOO saucy?

Thanks all

Bitten the bullet and changed it.

I am no longer PermanentStiffie, but have selected something that amounts to something rather similar

Good choice, it says what you want without being crude.
