I would class myself as bisexual as I equally love sex with men and women

But would you date a member of your own sex?

A very good question.

I do not feel emotionally attached to the same sex - but if I found a guy who I was comfortable with who is also bi, then I'd love to see what happened.

Remember that you don't have to be equally attracted to both sexes to be bi. If you even fantasise about your own gender, you are not straight. If you even fantasise about the opposite gender, you are not gay. Being bi is just an attraction, whether sexual or emotional, to both sexes.

In saying that, while neither of us would rule out a same-sex relationship because sexuality changes over time, we are both far more attracted to the opposite sex while thoroughly enjoying experimenting with both from time to time.

I find sex to be quite simply just sex with either gender. For a relationship I usually go for the person behind the looks, and to me it doesn't matter whether they are male female or somewhere in between

Totally disagree with this. I don't believe fantasising about something makes you bisexual at all. I've had sex with a woman in a MFF, enjoyed it, but I'm straight, because I have no interest in meeting a woman one on one.

Also, I've fantasised about all kind of things that I probably wouldn't do in real life. I once fantasised about robbing a bank, it doesn't make me a bank robber.

Reply privatelyReply in forumReply +quote

Nope I wouldn't. My interest in males is purely for the sexual kink and pleasure that my mood occasionally calls for. I'm still heterosexual when it comes to relationships, but that doesn't mean I won't meet and play with bisexual couples or bi males individually if the chemistry's right.

I've done some crazy things in my time anyways haha.

Women that have sex with women are straight.

Men that have sex with men are straight.

They are only bi if they go on a date.

You are disagreeing with the dictionary and scientific definition. Your sexuality is defined by attraction, not actions. Indeed, a woman who has been with a woman and enjoyed it is obviously not straight. Being bi has nothing to do with whether or not you would want to be with people one to one.

I will continue to believe sexuality is more fluid and less rigid than yours or the "dictionary and scientific definition". I am not sexually attracted to women, ergo I am straight. If I have been with a woman and enjoyed it, in a particular situation, at a point in time, it doesn't change that fact.

I agree. Sexuality is a spectrum that runs from 100% one way to equal 50:50 interest in men and women, and everything in between. Just insisting on slapping the label "BI!" on anyone who isn't at 100% is very reductive.

"I would class myself as bisexual as I equally love sex with men and women

I had a "Girlfriend" for two years not long after I got married. My husband was aware and gave his full consent as he has no problem with my lets say appetite for female company.

It was a lovely experience but not one I would repeat simply because it did have its moments... Women are far more complex and emotional than men and at times I found that exhausting.

An experience I'm so very glad I had though x
