Interesting post. I've not had a lot of experience with women but got turned on by the kissing and love boobs. Freak out when it cones to going further though so I'm not bisexual but I'm not straight?!

Bicurious? It's kind of similar, my male friend's happy to suck cock and such but kissing, not so much. It's like the reverse.

Brighton - even Hove!

I described myself as bisexual. I don't think it's very accurate but it's better than straight.

I think bisexuality is a spectrum from fully straight to fully homosexual. I think people can move up and down within those parameters at different times of their life or with different people.

I'm just me. I don't like things up my arse either.

It is one of those areas where it technically should be easy: someone who has sex with people of both sexes.

Now all we need to do is define 'sex' and 'sexes'.

There are many women who don't do anal either, doesn't affect their sexuality, it's just an option they don't choose.

we are both fully bi in a swinging bi situation it is far better when all can do all, threesomes are the best, the dynamic changes with mmff bi fun, its very difficult to find a guy that is more bi than curious if that makes sense. The fem half of us isn't bothered about full swap with a guy in either a 3 or 4 many men don't get this. spose its all about preference, but if all qre open to all, surely that is better xx

Yes there's different grades of bisexuality. From 100% straight through to 100% gay. Many different shades of the rainbow.

Labels don't bother me. If a straight guy loves fucking men, that's cool with me.

Going on the basis of a great many previous posts there is no such thing as bisexual.

It is just a label apparently!!

If I can get my head around this issue it appears that:-

A straight bloke can have sex with another guy because " a hole is just a hole"

A straight guy can suck another guy but if he doesn't actually fancy men he is still regarded as straight.

If a straight guy is not interested in sexually exploring with another guy he is either too repressed or homophobic.

There we go I hope everything is now clear for you

I'm down as bi curious only because there isn't a tab to fit me. I'm happy to get 'involved' through the general fun of play but wouldn't actively go out my way to pursue a bi or gay bloke and I don't find guys remotely attractive - apart from Lenny Kravitz who certainly wouldn't get kicked off my shotgun seat!

But that's incredibly reductive. You're using the same label to apply to someone who is 50:50 equally interested in men and women, and someone who is 95:5 interested in men:women (or vice versa).

I know people prefer simple answers, but sexuality is more complex than straight/bi/gay. It's a spectrum, not 3 options.

It may sound reductive to you, but to me "Are you Bisexual?" is a 'yes' or 'no' question.

You may prefer one more than the other, that is simply preference.

I prefer rum and raisin, but if asked if I like ice-cream I still say 'yes'.

No I know but he's told me people are shocked that he's gay and doesn't do those acts. I don't understand why they would be. Being gay doesn't automatically mean you like things up your bum. And liking things up your bum if you are a guy doesn't mean you are bi/gay (it's been asked on here before)

Sexuality is who you are sexually attracted to. How hard is that to understand?

Straight - attracted to 'opposite' gender.

Gay - attracted to 'same' gender.

Bisexual - attracted to 'both' genders in a bigender paradigm.

Pansexual - attracted to all genders / gender doesn't matter.

Asexual - not attracted to any gender.

I think Kinsey had it fairly well. There are degrees of sexuality. Very few people are 100% heterosexual or 100% homosexual. Most people have some sort of attraction, in certain circumstances, to all genders.

As for me, I have been told I am a 2 on the Kinsey scale. I find women attractive, but not men. I don't even know what people who like men find attractive in us (which makes grooming and dressing myself somewhat difficult).

However in a MMF situation I will happily play with the other guy's cock, including oral and swallowing. And I am happy for him to play with mine. I'd probably go all the way if it felt right. But I wouldn't do the same guy on his own, without being turned on by the lady first.

As one of my friends (who happens to be trans and bi) says....."girls are too pretty and cocks are too much fun"

They're sexually attracted to part of the man's body, otherwise they wouldn't suck it for sexual excitement. Just because you're not attracted to someones face doesn't mean other parts of them aren't attractive.

(Otherwise I apparently have no sexuality - because I don't find many peoples faces sexually attractive.)

"I am bisexual but I don't do anal. Not my thing

One of my best friends is gay and doesn't give or recieve anal

There are enough straight women who don't have sex either. Sex acts aren't a definer of sexuality.

are you saying that you think sexuality is a frame of mind rather than being defined by the sexual acts that you engage in?

Sexuality is who you are sexually attracted to. How hard is that to understand?

Straight - attracted to 'opposite' gender.

Gay - attracted to 'same' gender.

Bisexual - attracted to 'both' genders in a bigender paradigm.

Pansexual - attracted to all genders / gender doesn't matter.

Asexual - not attracted to any gender.

What about men that like sucking cock but aren't ever sexually attracted to the man it's attached to?

They're sexually attracted to part of the man's body, otherwise they wouldn't suck it for sexual excitement. Just because you're not attracted to someones face doesn't mean other parts of them aren't attractive.

(Otherwise I apparently have no sexuality - because I don't find many peoples faces sexually attractive.)"

Thank you that makes sense. I'll think about that.

I wasn't trying to argue, just asking.

While it is sometimes useful to remember that most people do fall into the category of feeling that they are either male or female, it's certainly true that gender is a spectrum too.

I am attracted to some women, including sometimes women born with male genitalia (regardless of whether they retain those parts). I have never been attracted to a man, including men with female genitalia. I also don't often form close friendships with men, and have never been emotionally close enough with a man to consider it a "relationship".

But sometimes I play physically with men, in a MMF or group situation where a woman has previously turned me on. Cocks are fun to play with but I need to be in the mood first, and only women can do that. However I certainly have played with woman who had a penis, and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

I tend to describe myself as heteexible, as it best covers how I feel. I want to convey that I am not ever likely to play with a man or group of men, nor am I likely to have a relationship with a man.

On Fab I am "bi-curious" with a brief explanation in my profile.

Pinched from the post i put in the Scottish forum about same subject . (

The dictionary definition of bisexuality is a romantic or sexual attraction to both men and women. It doesn't say anything about having to fancy both equally. Neither does it say you have to have actually tried it, or want a relationship. In terms of the sexual act, if you are attracted to the idea of sex with both sexes (fantasies etc), whether of not you are only attracted to bits of that sex (cock, boobs, or whatever) you are bi. Bi-curious isn't a scientific term. It has only been invented by people who, for one reason or another, don't want to classify themselves as bi despite being attracted to the idea of sex with both sexes.)

Genderqueer is nothing to do with who you find attractive. It's a word that means 'I don't fit into a bigender definition'. It's not silly, it's just a word to describe who you are.

I liken bisexuality to liking chocolate in my head. Some people don't like chocolate, they prefer normal foods. Some people like chocolate cake but not chocolate bars, that would be too much chocolate. Some people are curious about chocolate - which is crazy because chocolate is yummy and everywhere, and they should try some.

I'm not high or anything, I just want some chocolate.

It's a shame you feel that way. I personally don't think genderqueer sounds all that, but many people simply don't identify with either the male or female gender and for better or worse that's the label that stuck. In my opinion people should try to respect that.

The English language has a long history of butting two words together to make new words. There's nothing odd about it.

Gender - In dictionary English means to subscribe to one option of the bigender paradigm (the idea that there are male and female and nothing else).

Queer - To spoil or to not fit in to the expected.

Therefore GenderQueer means to spoil the idea of the bigender paradigm because you do not fit into the 'male' or 'female' box.

What is silly about that?

Don't know if it helps the OP. I'm bi, but go through waves, of attraction to either male, or females. I have kissed men and women, gave oral to, and indulged in masturbation with both, but never received anal from a man. My partner, she is also along the same lines. We both just go with it, we both like either sex, in different degrees, at different times, and both identify as bi.

Thanks for this thread though, it's been interesting reading .

A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

I've been following a few Bi threads as the fluid nature of people's sexuality interests me.

As a gay guy who prefers men you'd think I'd automatically be interested in other gay guys. Strangely they rarely do anything for me as I'm selective enough in "real life" & have a great partner who is masculine looking and a Bottom.

However since being on Adult Sites for years I've experimented & explored with a few hot men & women. Perhaps I'm just a horny sod but if I find someone attractive & we're comfortable I have no issues playing with either sex but my preference will always be guys. I've had plenty offers from men & women & even arranged MFMs with friends I trust implicitly (tho not so much now), & usually the girls were the ones who wanted to see two guys playing (just as men fantasise about FMFs). The lads have mostly been exclusively heterosexual & married but felt comfortable enough with us all exploring. Does that make them Hetrofkexible - who knows (or cares)? One of the nicest compliments I ever received was a guy saying I was the "straightest gay guy he'd ever met" but probably because I beat him to he girl. Anyway, whatever folk want to label themselves is fine by me, but let's remember we are all here to seek out experiences we wouldn't normally find in everyday life.

Have fun people.

"I've been following a few Bi threads as the fluid nature of people's sexuality interests me.

Agree or not but its interesting stuff:

Alternating bisexuals  may have a relationship with a man, and then after that relationship ends, may choose a female partner for a subsequent relationship, and many go back to a male partner in the future.

Circumstantial bisexuals: primarily heterosexual, but will choose same sex partners only if they have no access to other-sex partners, such as when in jail, in the military, or in a gender-segregated school.

Concurrent relationship bisexuals: have primary relationship with one gender only but have other casual or secondary relationships with people of  another gender at the same time.

Conditional bisexuals  either straight or gay/lesbian, but will switch to a relationship with another gender for a specific purpose, such as young straight males who become gay prostitutes to make money or lesbians who get married to men in order to gain acceptance from family members or to have children.

Emotional bisexuals  have deeply intimate emotional relationships with both men and women, but only have sex with one gender.

Integrated bisexuals  have more than one primary relationship at the same time, one with a man and one with a woman.

Exploratory bisexuals: either straight or gay/lesbian, but have sex with another gender just to satisfy curiosity or “see what it’s like.”

Hedonistic bisexuals  primarily straight or gay/lesbian but will sometimes have recreational sex with a different gender purely for sexual satisfaction.

Recreational bisexuals: primarily heterosexual but engage in gay or lesbian sex only when under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Isolated bisexuals  100% straight or gay/lesbian now but has had at one or more sexual experience with another gender in the past.

Latent bisexuals  completely straight or gay lesbian in behavior, they have strong desire for sex with another gender but have never acted on it.

Motivational bisexuals  straight women who have sex with other women to please their male partner who requests it for his own titillataion.

Transitional bisexuals: temporarily identify as bisexual while in the process of moving from being straight to being gay or lesbian, or going from being gay or lesbian to being heterosexual.

I define my sexuality as queer...if you want it in a box, pansexual. I like people. I like to fuck humans. Simple.

Mainstream society insists we define ourselves, which is a shame (so many bi men list themselves as straight to keep up appearances).

I think most people are sexually fluid but who cares if everyone is having fun?

I actually think that virtually all of us are bisexual to some degree. I'm a bottom, even though I've never experienced anal penetration.

I can easily understand straights that appreciate the male body and that is as far as their bisexuality goes. The thing I don't understand are those that violently dispute bisexuality, especially within themselves. Even if they repress it themselves, why hurt others; Just tell them!

I've always tried 'most' things twice...just to be sure and so far I'm not bisexual...although being fucked with a strap on (lots of lube!) takes pleasure to another level..doesn't do much for your sex face though Mr D..

Bi sexuality is like everything else, you like what you like. I am fully bisexual ie I like giving and receiving oral to both males and females, I also like to give and receive anal sex to and from males. There are some that don't like anal so are orally bi, etc. I think the categories on here need to be bisexual orally bi bi playfull and bi curious. But at the end of the day you go with the mood,a mate who ran a swingers club in Totton was playing with my good lady and I started sucking him he had never experienced this before and was a pleasure to note he didn't kick off or push me away he enjoyed it. Happy swinging guys x

If you get sexually aroused by both sexes then you are bisexual. It doesn't matter which bit of the other person you touch or which bit of you you let them touch. If your turned on its sexual

I will play with woman in group situations but it does nothing for me at all so I wouldn't class myself as bi as it does not turn me on

A woman i know like me is bi she has played with girls like have with guys but would only have a relationship with a guy as i would with a woman so we are a good match in that sense plus open about our sexuality does help to many people deny there true nature to each other which is one reason why so many relationships and marriages fail xxx

I would say yes, if you enjoy a guy sucking your cock etc you are bisexual.

I would class my self bisexual as I enjoy having sex with men. But I also enjoy sex with women. My tastes change, sometimes I prefer guys, sometimes girls.

As for anal, I'm not a huge fan of it. When I've done it with guys (giving and receiving) it's been with people I have built up a relationship with. Saying that I love a finger or a dildo up there at times. More so from a girl than a guy.

I would class myself as orally bi as I enjoy playing and sucking a cock. I do like to look at them too and do get turned on by them, but not tried anal (both giving and receiving) - yet - but will do at some point.

I don't see a guy walking past though and think "he's cute" or anything like that.

I also prefer more feminine types of men if you know what I mean...

Not sure what that makes me...

I rosi class my self as bi-playful. I am not bi as I could not have a relationship with a woman as I could with a man. Nor would I play solo with a female or do it to put on a show for the men. But as part of a group or a 3sum I will play if I choose to. thou I do seem to have a thing for boobs which fluke encourages.

Yes it helps.

Since we don't have unlimited time to correspond with everyone on the site a (truthful) label is a useful starting point if we are looking to meet someone who shares our sexual inclinations.

Sorry I disagree with the "everyone" bit. If you had used the word "many" I would have agreed.

If two guys are doing DP and realise that part of the sensations they like come from the other's cock movements, are they only bi if it dawns on them?

I would define bisexuality as walking down the middle of the road and getting hit by traffic from both directions.

'S how it feels, sometimes.

In my opinion if you are intrigued about and want to try someone the same sex you are bicurious....if you have had sex of any type with someone the same sex on a number of occasions and enjoyed it and keep wanting more but like variety and the opposite sex also your bisexual.

I think you're way past the curious stage when its happened a few times.

And if you're curious about having sex with someone of the opposite sex, then you're straight-curious? It's only when you've shagged around a bit with the opposite sex that you're straight?

For many years I was what you would call Bi Curious and then when my ex wife and I started swiging many many years ago, things started to change as I in any mixed meeting, it was inevitable that al bodies could/would touch, them one thing lead to another, till I realised, do you know what; I actually enjoyed being touched and having my body admired at the same time as there being females around

These day, I am no longer Curious lol - but absolutely love the female form equally as much ----- yep I am greedy - so is that it really Bisexual, really is another word/meaning for "horny bugger who likes all sex" lol

"How would you define bisexuality? Are there different grades to it or is it all or none? Orally bi, is he/she considered as bisexual? I know there have been plenty of such threads but i never got my answer...

Interested sexually in men and women - bisexual.

Interested sexually in men, women and other genders - pansexual."

Ah. Guess I must be pan rather than just bi then.

Anyone for tea?
