How can someone wink you but then don't reply to your first message? Just very confusing...

How can it be accidental? You're asked if you are sure you want to wink?

Not on the desktop site it isn't,I've just sent you an proper accidental friends invite that you can delete and a wink to see if it asked if I wanted to send

It just sent it without asking

I've been winked at but then my message has been ignored.I just assume that they didn't like what I had to say or had lost all interest in me.People can be fickle and there's no real harm done is there?

As is said a lot of couple & single fem's get loads of mail each day!!!

And maybe the reply gets overlooked!!

How about if we get a WINK there's an option to send a WINK MESSAGE so they know it's from someone they winked & it sits at the top of the list till read or deleted?

If it's a couple - it may have been the man that winked - and when you message, the woman may be reading it - looks at the profile - and no attraction there (or vice versa of course)

This happens to us sometimes too. I just assume its that whoever winked us either changed their mind or had too much interest from others to move forward with us....but yeah, it is a bit confusing.

Could be they just see the pics 1st & wink on auto!!

Then see they might not fit what you want!!

We've had similar. Received a wink two days ago so sent message saying 'thanks and happy to say hi' etc. As you do. Our msg was read but no reply. We thought no problem, they're clearly not that interested. Then got a friend request today from the same profile but still no reply to our earlier msg. We messaged again saying we were confused by the friend request. Then they blocked us.

Because your message didn't appeal to them. Sometimes i may wink at a guy who looks good, then he doesn't read my profile and sends me a rotten message.

We get loads of winks from blokes with no public profile and half a line of badly spelled gibberish. We often wink back, hoping this will lead to a well worded message and some good pics. Alas this is very rare, hence often not replying.

Sometimes you juts have to get past a sense of entitlement
