VIDEO ON WEBCAM - definition

The rules with reference to webcams state as follows:

**You are not allowed to play video over your camera**

Some mods class this to include showing a picture,which I think is very ambiguous as each moderator interprets this differently. Surely it would be a good idea to change this to **You are not allowed to play video or show pictures over your camera**, which is an additional 3 words.

I think it is wrong for me to be banned as I was not breaking any of the rules.

What do you guys think?

has written to the site owners but was warned I wouldn't get a response, and I havn't.

It is against the rules to have a cam on and well not be on it. ie leaving it pointing at the wall for hours on end, showing a still picture, showing other people on it not yourself(ves) showing pre-recorded footage of anything ie it has to be a live feed.

Common sense really cams are for showing live footage, galleries are for showing pictures.

Ok your ban will be over soon and now you know the rules and it won't happen again so no major damage done. as for making things clearer I suppose the site could always do with some improvements but that's life.

Unsure why you think your status as a single guy is a factor in any part of this ?

If you where banned, for whatever reason here is certainly not the place to air it, trust me I've learned!

The broadcasting of videos/pictures etc.. Via a live webcam is forbidden on most sites of a swinging nature!

If your gonna switch your cam on go on cam, not bore us!

My suggestion, put your pics on your profile and share there.

Not having a go just stating the obvious.

It isn't against the rules to have a cam running and you not to be on it, ie pointing at a wall while you go for a cuppa but it is against rules to have a cam on and showing someone who doesn't know they are on the cam, and that would include pictures.

You can't have faces showing on pics on your profile of others, so it would seem sensible that the same would apply on a cam.

I am only presuming that was the reason formy ban as I didnt get a mail or any other communique from whomsoever banned me.

Does anybody know how one conatcts the admin team here?

There is a contact link at the bottom of every page but why would you be entitled to a refund?

You broke the site rules and got a ban from the chatroom so it is your own fault is it not?

whoops it appears it's not a rule and some years ago when I was banned from the chatroom for doing just that the moderator got it wrong, but hey no harm done and in truth I think it is wrong to take up server space for no reason.

my webcam has a privacy screen which i put on if i need to be away from cam for a few mis, is this not allowed,it is a pic of me
