Great Alternative To Skype

Here is our room

You can have up to 8 people on video chat or whatever else you want to do on video in the room at the same time. The room can be locked so you can just send out the link to your personal room to whoever you want to video "chat" to and they will have to knock before you let them in. They can also be booted out by you too.

It's html5 based so much more stable than Skype with better picture and sound quality.

There is also an AppearIn App available on iOS for your iphones and ipads (don't know about android Apps)

Give it a go. It might be useful for some of you guys on here

It is really straightforward once you decide on a room name, add it and they send a code to your email or phone, enter the code and hey presto you have your own personal room which you can invite anyone to and have 8 people in their with you all on camera or if shy they can turn their camera off.

It also works brilliantly on mobile devices

No idea why unless it's going into your spam folder. It worked fine for us. The App is great too

Obviously it works best if you are prepared for someone to knock on your door by prior arrangement.

Could be good for those exhibitionists out there that post they are going to be doing a show on cam
