Jealousy - do you suffer with it?

Do you get jealous ? Here, I'm often surprised by jealousy as theoretically I wouldn't expect anyone to get jealous - to me swinging is about sharing. I realise though that, that comes with full honesty too.

I don't get jealous here, so it's a concept I find hard to fathom.

We are very careful to consider everyone involved in our meets to try and makes sure it doesn't happen. It certainly never has between us because we know each other so well and always consider each other's feelings.

However having been 'in the scene' for a little while now we have seen jealousy plenty of times and experienced it with other couples.

Humans and sex is going to involve jealousy somewhere along the line unfortunately.

You'd think being swingers it wouldn't happen lol.

I can... but its rarely over things you would expect.

I often wonder if its jealousy at all..and when I do suffer with it, there is normally something negative that has happened along with it..

I think the most jealous I got actually resulted in one of our hottest 3 sums ever... So its not always a bad thing.. I felt jealous as hell.. yet it was amazing..

I sometimes think I get envious rather than jealous..I can and do blame it on the fact I actually have green eyes.

No I don't get jealous if poly is discussed beforehand openly and each person is ok with it then I just go with the flow and enjoy it for what it is.

If the person I'm seeing prefers it to remain one on one then I respect their wishes on that.

As long as everyone's happy

"Do you get jealous ? "

No.

And in real life that's my main downfall in relationships (real life).

Girlfriends in the past have equated that to me not giving a fuck.

Thing is.

My parents have been married nearly 30 years. They met as kids.

My dad gets a ridiculous amount of attention and the way they handle it has rubbed off on me.

Jealousy is just not even in my head and my most recent ex was an outrageous flirt.

"On here no jealousy... Away from here a little.... Isn't jealousy a strange way of showing you care? X"

It depends how you _iew life.

I don't think that being jealous means I care about someone. It's more caring, to me, to enjoy my partners enjoying life rather than being envious that they've got something I haven't.

There is no place in swinging for jealousy. Nor competitive behaviour, which I have also witnessed in the chatrooms. Mainly women I have to say. It's actually vile to watch if honest, and can get quite nasty! I tend to steer clear of folk like that.

It's inevitable that some (mainly women) get jealous. I always keep an open mind regards meets etc.

I'm in this for fun and we've had many a good meet, but I also bear in mind people could have hidden agendas and are not in it only for the fun, so my wits are always well and truly kept about me - as per

I have never really understood jealousy. It goes back to my mother getting jealous and angry when my dad received a Christmas card from an ex. I just couldn't see her point of _iew and still don't.

So o don't get jealous whan my wife or anyone else important to me is having fun. I feel good that they are having a great time.

When we started out going to Swingers Clubs we were both really nervous, excited and didn't know how we would feel seeing each other with someone else. When a guy played with Beth the first time we both talked about it afterwards and we were ok with it, for us it was more a concern that we were both ok with what was happening rather than jealousy. Now we know the kind of people we like and are much more relaxed and happy to go with the flow!

The problem with that is that you don't know what is said and discussed behind closed doors.. So to some what may seem to look like jealousy, could in fact be a reaction to something that has previously been spoken about/lied about or whatever. Nothing is ever black and white.

Doesn't affect us at all, after all it's just sex, not love. At first we wondered if the sight of the other one fucking someone else would be too much, but we both agreed after the first time that it was exciting rather than anything else. We didn't have any problems with separate room swaps or sleeping swapped either.
