Home parties vs club parties

I have been to a few swinging clubs and thoroughly enjoyed myself never been to an organised party at a non club what's wveryomes preference on their experiences?

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

I prefer house parties to clubs any day. Especially if they are allowed to progress naturally rather than when people try too hard with games etc

I love a party where everyone is having a good time and if sex happens cool but if you just want to socialise that's good too. The problems I find are when people try to make others do what they want and it becomes strained - much better to just let it happen

We've tried both, but our preference is for relaxed house parties - we throw our own now so that we can control (to some extent) what does and doesn't happen. It's all about getting the right mix of people, me thinks.

But each to their own. Can understand why some prefer clubs.

We have run our own house party before, its great.. the only thing is that it can be hard to organise. Although it was great to have an orgy in the middle of our lounge!

Clubs are fine, depending on the one you go to, similar for house parties. Too few people and a lot of pressure to play is an absolute nightmare, and one had me in tears as the people there were horrible and so pushy. Bigger house party is the best, where there are enough people to mingle and you don't feel the pressure to play.

I'm looking into hosting a party, quite nervous about it.

Found a location, building a guest list but not really sure how many to invite. I haven't even thought about games, would just leave people to their own devices really

We hold house parties, invite only, and they go really well. For me, they are what I prefer as I find the clubs can be very cliquey, taken over by the same old crowd. Not always the case of course, my experience is limited, but not really my thing. Trouble is the wife likes clubs, so a bit of compromise is required.

Without a doubt I prefer house parties to clubs. As long as the place has enough room to move around in. Otherwise it is no better than a club on an over crowded night from my perspective

We have only ever been to clubs and do agree with the comments about cliques and low numbers.

Both can be an issue, but go to the right clubs, on the right nights and we have a blast.

Never been to a house party yet but that's not to say we never will.

Not been to a club but all the house parties I've attended have been great. Really well organised with the right mix of couples, fems and males
