Do you like to see verifications? Personally I really don't want to read what others might think of someone I might want to meet. Takes away the intimacy and special feeling of meeting someone new in my opinion.

To me, they show someone shows up and is what they say.

I don't like any that are too graphic.

That, coupled with how the messages go, help us determine if we want to meet

I've got in the habit of displaying ones from the last few months. I used to not show any since the fact they exist on someone's profile is all I need and I rarely read them but I got sick of being called a fake for hiding mine. Damned if you do, damned if you don't so if mine put people off then we weren't right to meet anyway.

to be honest..I'd call it jealousy/control if someone has issues over whats been written(unless its of something they arent particularly fond of).

While verifications arent the be all n end all, I'd worry if someone thinks reading who I've mets verification would take away the 'intimacy' I'd have with them.

generally I'd tell anyone to fuck off if they have a problem with me displaying whatever I like to display, pics,veris,forum posts...etc.

I check all veris and then some of theres. Ive know of ppl having fake veris so will try and make sure they are true veris. Well as much as i can any way.

Yep! We do this and veris for us serve as a good base to go from, however, a meet is then determined on our part by how the conversations go.

Veri’s are good for one thing only and that’s to see if someone is genuine and bothers to turn up. Lets face it the profiles over 6 months old without a veri means the likelihood of that person turning up is possibly zilch. So veri's are a useful tool.

We show only a selection of ours just to show we are genuine and wont let people down at meets, no point in showing them all because as most have already said they are basically all the same.

No, I definitely read them, if someone's been on here a year+ and they haven't had a single meet, then I'd grow suspicious.

Let's put it this way - this'll sound like I'm objectifying people, I'm not! - if I'm buying something online, I'll read reviews of whatever I want to buy to get a feel for things. If you're meeting someone online I think it's a similar thing.

Unlike many people, we don't use Fab as a 'chat site' but actually want to meet. With the ever increasing amount of fakes and timewasters, verifications are an important tool in ing them out. Not perfect but a good tool at least.

I read them just enough to see that anyone we are thinking of meeting have met and played before.....we are not interested in endless socials, webcam veri's or people who haven't met in the last six months - other than that we don't really take any notice of them

How do you know they have never had a meet ? For all anyone knows they may be out meeting every night of the week , they just don't need or want anyone else knowing their business and will meet people who have a brain of their own to decide whether or not to meet them without the need to rely on someone else's opinion of them.
