miles on profile

Morning everyone a quick question where reading a profile it says how many miles apart is that how the crow flies distance example I live at Hillsborough in Sheffield and there is a lady who livees at. Rotherham and it. Says we live within 5 miles when I asked her post code we were 17 mile away

Pretty sure I read something like the accuracy of our locations on here are something like a ten mile radius which would explain why it says you're five miles apart. It's an approximate not an actual, good for privacy.

It only works on the first part of your postcode so there's a fair margin for error.

The distance range on fab is utter bollocks.

I've been in Scotland before and it's still shown me as on a mobile device 30 miles away from someone fairly local to me who I meet semi-regularly.

And I was in Scotland.....
