why is it sometimes when you have a discussion on here with someone about a topic they can be rude or offensive you just ask aquestion thats all is there any need for rudeness

I agree sometimes people may seem rude, especially when a newbie asks a question that has been done to death, but hey ho, in the main I don't think people are.

It could be that people don't agree with you and you take that as rudeness?!!

Yes you ask questions but they always seem to be questions that criticise/question other people's preferences/choices on how they run their OWN profile and time on here.

Everyone will do things their own way and should never have to justify it to you or anyone else!

True we don't have to justify ourselves. No obligation whatsoever to reveal anything we don't want to.

That doesn't mean that those who wish to discuss various aspects/preferences of their online experience should not.

I have found some of my preconceived ideas challenged in a most informative way in the forums and have hopefully learnt something.

They do have a point though some people are very quick to jump down people's throat.

Yeah it does happen.....but, sometimes questioning everything anyone does doesn't help matters.

The OP is right, some people can be rude....but it works both ways.

Why not try asking the people who you think are being rude at the time and in the thread you think it is happening... you will get much more specific answers rather than speculation.
