The word Genuine?

I receive so many messages with the words "I'm genuine"

Not sure if its just me getting grumpy in my old age, but that one little word annoys the hell out of me!

Is it not for us to judge if a person is genuine or not? or are we just to accept the self diagnosis?

i have to say i agree totaly

it seems to be used more and more often , and when we read it we have to laugh out loud

if for no other reason than this

if a person is NOT genuine the first thing they say is that they ARE genuine

so if you are one of the people that say they are genuine consider this

there are many people that when told a person is genuine think to themselves , hang on this person could not be genuine

lol some very funny replies lol.

ITs an odd one really. Like most things in life you sometimes need to take a chance on people and give people the benefit of the doubt.

I am very lucky in that I have been on here for around two weeks and I had a couple take a chance with me (A single guy with only a photo verification). I met with them last night and had a lot of fun. Stayed for a good while after the play was finished and had a good chat.

Hopefully will meet them again soon for more fun.

This being said they had at least two other people who said they would turn up but didn't.

It is a shame that there are so many time wasters about, but that is the fact of life.

Anyway have fun people.

hang on isn't the word Judge frowned upon as well

When we verify people we use the word genuine, because we find them to be exactly how they portray themselves in thier profiles.

People can be non-genuine or ungenuine whatever is the correct way of saying it.

10 year old photos

Bi-sexual when thier profile says straight

In a relationship when thier profile says single (men and women)

Thier Age

So to me it stands to reason that they can also be genuine.

Everything on our profile is true so we consider ourselves genuine here.
