What's with so many people asking others to fab their pics so they can be top fab pic?

Yes there are some very hot people on there but some people seem obsessed.

There does seem to be some out of proportion angst about the top fabbed. Have seen some posts where people are tearing their hair out because they don't get on list despite having the required number of fabs. I think a lot of times it is that the number you see on your own pics is last 24 hours and on the most fabbed is last 12 hours.

Still who are we to say that such things are unimportant as they appear to be for some people, live and let live

If people fab my photos I'm flattered but would never ask anyone to. I do enjoy posting photos though. Too many people on this site seem preoccupied with what others do. Just here for fun

I have never asked for my pic to be fabbed ..but was secretly over the moon when one got 750 fabs ..gutted I deleted by mistake and it now has about 150

I like getting fabs, it's like a mini compliment. But a compliment isn't a compliment if you have to ask for it via your status, what's the point? Having said that, it's all harmless stuff so leave 'em to it.

Really don't mind people asking and if it's important to them then no problem with that. We don't ask because that's just not us but if our pics get fabbed of course it's a nice gesture. If it makes it to the hot pics list it means we've generated interest in our profile and we might get a good meet because of it too. Win win.

You'd have to ask them.

I used to have my own pron site, once word got round about it, it made me really popular on a gaming site and i was in the top 10 voted a lot of the time. It was flattering to be at the top all the time, but it caused a lot of problems with people bitching at you, accusing you of cheating your way to the top etc. Also made you very popular and loads of people messaged you because they instantly knew about your profile if they looked in the top 10. So there are problems, but i guess the positives outweigh the negatives for the people you're talking about.

I suppose some people just love the feeling of being top voted, i never asked anyone to get me up there, it just happened. I'm surprised some of my pics have over 1000 fabs, never asked anyone to give them me and i never play in those fab my pics topics. Only thing i like is if someone fabs a lot of my pics i check out their profile, and if guys i care about fab them all i'm happier with that than anything else.
