saved searches (beta)

why oh why is it the despite the efforts of Fab you still see people who haven't got a clue or who just cant be bothered to set up their acc properly...logged on this morning used my saved search (beta) and low and behold first couple in the list and who fitted the criteria I'm hoping to meet state 'no single males apart from the ones we're talking with' messages will be ignored and still have males in their 'looking for' list. come on guys ...fab are doing their part lets see you do yours...its not hard...

Thats their choice,they obviously want to meet men but dont want men contacting them.

understand that but you can mail people that are not on your list....it just stops all those unnecessary and irritating mails that people harp on about....I've been contacted and played with by numerous couples who don't want single males...the system is that clever.lol

Just do what everyone else does and move on to the next profile,there are plenty of couples who do meet guys.

We don't meet single guys but as we are organising a social event we haven't got single males 'blanket blocked'.

Unfortunately this means that we will come up when searching for couples in our area so its not as simple as just blocking single guys!

simples* just block and unblock at your leisure and update prof accordingly simples* lol or maybe arrange through a forum post...just a thought...

It is in the forum however some people prefer to send mail rather than reply in the forum, and the first line of our profile states that we don't meet single guys but that doesn't stop us showing up in searches, which I believe is what you were complaining about!

i take everyones point but the best search engine in the world relies on broad parameters - so in reality you still need to fish about a bit.

I live in Leeds in NE and yet Bradford next door comes under NW and Donny is EM - try sorting that geograpphy out before whittling down preferences! C

the profile that i refer too actually states in CAPS all mail from single guys will be ignored! so why bother having mails as a preference?

Totally understand as for some reason Northampton comes under west minds yet is clearly eastmids?

but at least you can decide how far you are prepared to travel and as the list of preferences is more specific and mail from single guys who as we know dont all read profiles is asking for trouble and irritation of those receiving them?
