We have told a few friends, some are interested, some don't want to know. We don't shove it in their face,.if they don't want to know, we don't say any more. If people are interested we answer their questions. I think it helps to de-stigmatise it as an acceptable relationship choice

Many of my friends know, but not all. Anyone who suspects/asks will be told.

Work colleagues know...right up to board level.

It isn't something I shove in people's faces but nor is it something I hide. It is part of my life. It is what I do. It is what makes me what I am....why on Earth would I seek to hide it?

I don't tell anyone and like privacy and discretion. If I recognised anyone on here i wouldn't say anything either. It does take guts to be more 'out' about it and show face pics, etc, but it isn't for everyone and that is one of the things that makes the site so good. If people did find out it would probably be okay, but not everyone needs to know everything all the time...

We are all indeed different...

Must say I have a great relationship with my brother and mother - we're pretty open about mostly everything (within reason), my mum is proud that we're open about what we do because she doesn't have anything to fear she doesn't know about, or things we could be up to without her knowledge.

End of the day swinging/NSA sex doesn't make you a bad person.

Don't get me wrong she does joke around and call us sluts, whores and all that but it's all I jest - just as we joke with her about her choice marrying a guy 20 years her senior she's just jealous we're getting some and she isn't.

If I ever did tell anyone I know I used clubs and sites like this I don't think they would believe me, I think they would think I was jus winding them up to see what reaction I got, the real me and the fab/swinging me are two totally different people, I split from my ex nearly seven year ago and everyone I know honestly thinks I haven't met anyone or had sex since, people ask me semi regular if I miss sex

None of our friends know as far as I am aware. Certainly none have ever mentioned it although I have a slight suspicion one couple might.

Most of my mates (who are all married) are having affairs, fucking the secretary, hookers on business trips etc. It is pretty sad actually.

Bizarrely as swingers we probably sleep with fewer people in any given year than some of them.
