I don't ever think someone is out of my league. I think some people are not my type or vice versa or that what we have to offer isn't what they want and if that were the case I wouldn't message.

Depends.

Sometimes I won't send a message because I don't match up with their profile in some way (usually because I don't feel I match up to some of what they are looking for - even if its borderline).

Sometimes I will drop a message and see what happens, but occasionally, just occasionally I look at a profile, love it, but feel in my gut I'd have no chance.

The thing is that you have assumed that because you feel a certain way about yourself that everyone else will too. That simply isn't true.

If I didn't meet their criteria, eg age, size etc then I wouldn't because that's saying that what they have chosen to write in their profile doesn't apply to me and that is so rude. " I see you prefer slim black women under 30, I'm the very opposite of that but I'm sure you'll make an exception for me because you obviously don't know your own mind" kinda thing....

If we fit what they're looking for, we message. we'll have a look at their verifications too, which gives us a clue about who they've met previously to see if there are similarities...This is a site that you have to be proactive on, if you sit back and wait for people to approach you, you won't find what you're looking for...shy kids get no sweets...

If I hadn't punched above my weight in so many aspects of my whole life, I wouldn't have had a 1/4 of the fun I've had.

What's the worst that can happen?

Block?

Delete?

No thanks?

Ask 100 people, you never know, one may say yes, the other 99 don't realise that they could be missing out on an amazing time!
