Sorry if this bin posted recently but how many other couples get annoyed when someone messages them but only says hi to one . It annoys me when they put "Hi Tony"or is it just me . X . M

Maybe give your partner a name instead of just a letter and people may start addressing you both

Your name is also the profile name so you can't really blame people for just messaging you

We get this quite a bit, annoyed us at the start but now we just delete and move on... Just shows they haven't bothered to read our profile.

"My pics on friends only just our choice "

I wouldnt know how to address you in a message apart from the Hi Tony, as your partners name isnt even above her profile description. Do you put "hello both" in a bid to be polite and not ignore the female?

Your profile screams 'single male' why not give your partner an identity and a photo, you can even change your username to reflect this.

Maybe the message is only directed at one of you! Maybe they only want to talk to one half of the couple. Don't sweat it.

Its very difficult for single men especially. I the female half of this couple tend to do all the messaging and after a while its easy to slip into the first person which in turn makes it easy for the person you're messaging to address just me. We usually find a message from us both gets us all back on track

I'm assuming the name Tony is the man and this is the lady posting.

If anybody knows you as a couple they are going to know its you anyway as there is a very clear picture of your partner. You don't need to put face pictures publicly

This.

As others have said - it comes across as very much a single male profile - there's no balance.

But if you don't want to take onboard the advice of others then that's your choice. It's unlikely that anything will change though.

we don't mind cut and paste messages, its what follows that counts and if someone has prepared a good message as long as they remember to change the names (school boy error) we're happy to receive it no matter how many other people its been sent to

Better address just one of us, than both and get my name wrong, I hate that

I get addressed as Jane often as it's part of our user name. A quick read of the profile would tell you my name.
