what does amps mean please

in profiles where it says

will meet ladys couples and amps?

I think sometimes when the & symbol is entered it throws in the word "amp" for good measure. God knows why, but it happened when I did it a month or two back.

It is short for ampersand which is the & symbol that parts of the site coding can't display correctly but it only happens on certain parts of the site.
