Therefore geography sucks!!!

This is where cars, public transport and hotels come in handy

Having the time is my only issue oh and the Women agreeing to meet me

Lincoln

Public transport isn't always cheap, same with hotels. But I have the issue that I'd like a social meet first & I've found alot of guys don't. Plus I seem to attract guy's who live miles away too

Treat yourself to a nice weekend away somewhere with the chance of a social drink with someone while you're there, if it leads to more then it's a bonus, if not then you'll still have a good weekend.

The only barriers to meeting are the ones you place upon yourself. Distance is just another minor inconvenience that 'can' be overcome if you want it to be.

I don't mind a bit of distance, nice to get away from seeing the same things day in day out. Embrace it & look for women who live on the coast like me!

Plan ahead.....

I've a few plans for friends who live a good way away....

It's only Britain, I've driven almost the length of it in under a day, so its pretty tiny on the grand scene of things...

Few hundred miles is nothing if you have the time and money....

We get this although we are not averse to travelling some considerable distances for the right situation.

In the middle

Find a woman who doesn't mind travelling, some of us do have cars and are willing to go the distance for the right person

Try Living in Mid Wales.

Everywhere is a distance.

Not that I mind driving but the fact your not "local" tends to put most ladies off a meet.

I agree Geography Sucks !

Distance is a obstacle that can be overcome if you both want to meet,

But I wouldn't travel a great distance just for a social unless it was a club meet

We love that the people we like live far away. It gives us an excuse to visit new places and have weekends away in different parts of the country. Geography is awesome!

it isn't as simple as if you want to overcome distance you can.....when I only get a few hours to meet midweek evenings, there is a strict limit to how far I can travel.....so yes, geography sucks. that's why it's taken 2 years to meet up with some of my sexy friends. ....yes in some cases you can get there eventually but it's extremely frustrating in the meantime!!

Yep and that's why it pays to be patient with those you really click with and will meet at some point!

Try living in Aberdeen! Even Glasgow and Edinburgh are 2.5 hours away, never mind anywhere else

I know, but that has been planned for a while though hasn't it?

I do travel to social etc, but flights can be expensive and timings are not the best either.

"Most of the people I really really want to meet are stinking miles away...

Now look on the bright side for a moment and think of all the advantages:

You live in an enlightened age when swinging is acceptable rather than 100 years ago.

You live in a free country where you can carry on this lifestyle rather than living in some middle eastern countries where you could pay a serious penalty.

You have affordable transport to travel in moderate comfort where you want to go, not model T Fords now you know.

You have the internet where you can meet peeps to have fun with even if they live far away, unlike 100 years ago when all you had was the Royal Mail.

And you're complaining? You've never had it so good.

If someone really catches my eye, then I couldn't care how far they are away, I'm going to meet them. It might take sometime to plot and plan, but that's much of the fun of it for me.

(Of course I do make sure they want to meet me too before I begin planning!)

It does suck, but I just suck it up with regret. I don't travel and I can't have people staying here too long. Apart from one exceptional exception, I stay local.
