converting views in to messages

I think it's true for most of us, I get a lot of views but rarely get messages other than from my friends, people browse / are nosy etc for lots of reasons and not always because they want to meet.

Why not message those who've viewed you?

Something like... "Thanks for popping by and viewing our profile. I see from your profile that we have xyz in common..."

A double edged sword? Couples and ladies get pissed with so many messages, and many mass just delete as they don't find it fun/or flattering? So it gets to the stage people just view profiles instead. I am a man, and I am polite so hey

..... and this is why I do my viewing in stealth mode!!!

If I wanted to mail people after reading a profile... guess what..... I would have mailed them!!!!!

some people are so fixated about how other go about using the site and overthink everything....

I very rarely make the first approach by messaging someone, but I like looking at all the profiles and seeing who is around. I get a lot of views on my profile (mostly single guys) but not that many messages too. It really annoys me when people message me assuming I must be interested because I looked at their profile.... Honey, if I was that interested I would have messaged you myself!

I viewed your page as you're profile came up in a search. I saw you weren't looking for single guys so didn't feel any benefit for either of us in me saying hello.

Just assumed that you had a filter that would have bounced my message if I had written.

My decision not to write was based on courtesy, as opposed to a lack of attraction.

We don't get so many messages that mass deletion is the only option. We say in our profile that we no reply means no thanks but we read each one and the profile of the sender.

Why not message those who've viewed you?

Something like... "Thanks for popping by and viewing our profile. I see from your profile that we have xyz in common..."

That was aimed at op. Your profile is fine, and your happy with it, and the messages it attracts. You need to give lessons in how to write profiles. Some people are begging to be taught!
