first time nerves

New to this feeling nervous and scared about first time, any advice?

Discuss and agree on your boundaries.

Remember it was everybody's first time once we have all been there.

Socials are a good starting point.

Only do what you feel comfortable with. Most people are gracious and accept/understand that No means No.

Enjoy yourselves. Swinging is supposed to be fun.

P.s. Nerves are normal, we still get them even before social meets. Its part of the excitement of what we do.

Scared the crap out of both of us going to our first meet. Still scares us a bit now, 15 years later, and if it ever stops scaring us at least a little bit, we'll most likely give it up.

Fear is not a bad thing, its keeps us alive. Rationalised fear leads to excitement, so just enjoy the excitement

I was as nervous as hell but the guy we met was a very experienced swinger and very considerate. I think if you say you're nervous anyone with any heart would understand.
