It surprises us that couples will say that they won't kiss because it is too intimate - but they like oral sex,full swap etc.

My OH is the best kisser (I would say that after 33 years) so I don't necessarily spend a lot of time kissing other ladies - anyway there are other things I want to do with my mouth. Apart from if someone has a cold sore or something it would be frustrating not to be allowed to kiss.

Quite easily at clubs and parties, one on one, it's more important but in a pile of naked people, lips aren't really what I'm looking for...

We used to have a no kissing thing because I really had little interest in being kissed by others but we realised how important it is to others so compromised...I'd still rather only kiss the Monkey but I'm more open to it in more intimate circumstances and enjoy it with some special friends...

It all depends who you are and what you are looking for really, singles meeting singles, not technically swinging more casual sex, but nonetheless I would imagine kissing would be quite important.

Whereas a 3some situation would entirely depend on the people involved as to whether its important or not.

cuckolding it should probably be discussed at the beginning as to whether its important or not.

group sex, gang bangs and the like it probably isnt very important at all.

yes he stated he couldnt have sex with someone that doesnt kiss, fair enough thats his choice, but ending it with a broad strong statement of "kissing is necessary", when it simply would have been fairer to state "kissing is necessary for me" is my point, im not saying his choice is wrong and im not saying I didnt no what he meant, but my point is, there is no right and wrong in peoples choices on this, but with strong statement like that on the end of a comment it turns it into you looking like you think you are right and others are wrong, a couple of words is all the difference.

It sounds to me, just to me mind, that humour also gets lost behind a keyboard. I also think that this is generally understood. But even so, I think sometimes we take things personally when we shouldn't.

Yes it is very easy for humour to be lost from behind a keyboard, making it more important to make it clear to everyone not just to those that you are agreeing with, which (back to my 1st post) is all I said to you, I noticed something, I politely pointed it out, in a face to face conversation thats fine, but on a forum it makes you public enemy number 1 to everyone that agrees with said poster.

There is an element of truth in that, kissing is something that people seem to have an absolute opinion on and because they are sure that their opinion will be supported by the majority feel able to express it strongly. Few "each to their owns" like there would be if we were discussing anal for example.

Having seen lots of these threads I know pretty what the consensus on kissing is but I sometimes just mention our opposing preference

the worst thing is im not saying that his or there view was wrong, as there is no right and wrong, I simply stating to make it a fairer statement just add a couple of words.

in my time here ive also seen many of these threads, and you always get the "essential" "its a must" etc comments, when the point im making is, its essential to them, not to everyone, its a choice that people make, those that choose to kiss are right, and those that choose not to kiss are right, no one is wrong for making a choice, and no one should be made to feel like they are wrong for choosing to do things there way, but these threads always do it, comments like, "you can suck my cock but I cant kiss you" etc, at the end of the day its all down to personal choice, personally we take or leave it, if the situation takes us there then we go if it doesnt then it doesnt, it isnt a must or essential, neither is it ruled out, but if we dont understand someones preferences we wont go questioning it or ridiculing it on a forum.

Can imagine that's quiye hard. Before I met Mr I didn't kiss... I mean at all. Not with partners or anyone...

I love kissing Mr now... I adore watching him kiss others and I enjoy kissing women. I feel a bit put out if now a guy in a couples situation won't kiss me while his Mrs is kissing my Mr but I do find that I don't get the thrill that kissing Mr gives me when I kiss others.

It's nice if they are any good at it... But it doesn't get me all wet and ready.. where as a kiss from Mr can do more to me than full sex with another person x but guess that comes down to it being what it is x
