felt scared at a meet!

Has anyone ever been put on edge at a meet? Maybe something someone did or said to you make you become abit wary!?

Not scared as in threatened...but I've generally had social meets to suss people out first.

Twice (her), the first was a meet in a hotel that went wrong after he got a bit too rough with me, and the second a meet in a guys house where he had 3 devil hounds trying to eat their way through a solid wood kitchen door in order to either rip out my throat or lick me to death, either way I didn't stick around!

We got it badly wrong in this instance. It made us change certain things about the way we meet and taught us never to ignore even the slightest doubt.

I met a guy once who just gave me bad feelings, his topic of conversations were a little iffy and the tone in his voice a bit aggressive, so I made my excuses and left

No I generally chat a fair bit first.

The forums can help as you can gauge them a lot better, whether or not you're gonna get on etc..etc..

You get a feel for people.

It's harder to gauge outside of the forums until they are right in front of you...but even then I like to have a good idea first.

About 11 years ago I had similar experience with a meet with a couple + a female friend of theirs at their pkace. Had a great evening and they all went to bed and I crashed on sofa as I'd had a couple of drinks (not loads) and didn't want to chance driving 90 odd miles home.

In the middle of the night the couple had a really heated blazing row and I overheard him saying that she'd been doing . I was going to leave at that point as I felt intimidated, the keys were in the front door but and I planned to let myself out, lock the door and post keys through the letterbox. For some reason I couldn't get the door unlocked so I was stuck there listening to them rowing for hours. In the morning they where suprised to find me still there as they thought I left when they went to bed

No I have never felt scared on a meet...

Have been put off on a couple of occasions by someone's attitude when chatting so have cut the meet short. That's be to expected we don't assume everyone who meets us will like us and vice versa.

That would be enough to scare me off. I went to a meet recently where the guy had laid out his dildo collection on the ground at the end of the bed and there was one huge black one as big as my forearm and hand combined. That has put me off. I will only meet socially first now!!!!

Never scared but like a few who have posted above, have been very uncomfy when I've realized one (or both) are d up out of their heads! It's happened 3 times, (1 in eureka and 2 in the USA) the times in the US I just finished up and made my goodbyes - I'm not going to waste a good opportunity

The time at Eureka, he couldn't get it up and left the room.

One bad experience and I had met him for a social first, he seemed really nice, but alone in his house was very scary. I managed to get out unscathed apart from a few bruises where he got too rough sexually.

I only meet in clubs now

the hotel man I had met 5/6 times prior and no hint of being violent, and we had chatted for weeks before meeting too! Just shows even when you think they're ok, sometimes they're not...he retaliated by posting my mobile number on an event post on here...dick!
