Gave up the carp fishing after getting bored with it and the wife taking enough food to feed the whole lake. Went back to my match fishing.

Guess I just like holding my pole in the company of other men.

Love it , Euro 47lb UK 37lb .

Went yesterday with a friend from this site , we had a good day landing 12 good doubles on a day only session.. but was to many on the lake to have any bivvy fun

Know the feeling. Love going with robx bivvy fun is great. Getting up at 2am wearing nothing going out in the rain to take a pic of his catch -hilarious. But not great at taking the pic and once back in you cant get it back. Rob not always happy shame I missed a bit of the tail lol

Oooo I hope she doesn't read this but it's got to be catching a carp. The lake I fish I'm lucky to catch 2-3 a year so when I do it's something else!!

I fish matches so a good carp in the net is a great plus but bream are match winners if you are good enough to hold them or when they drift out fish over the top of them
