Don't be fooled by the word ADULT in the adult weekend title. I have been to many of these and there are usually quite a lot of stag/hen parties who neither act or behave as normal adults. However if this is something that will not bother you they are great weekends with lots of fun to be had. Good luck

Went on one a couple of years ago with 14 lads a 70s weekend and had a brilliant weekend. 5000 people on site just partying all weekend. Never saw any trouble all weekend. So much so that we are looking to go again the end of this year to an 80s weekend

I have been to a few of them , they are great fun and not to be taken seriously in the slightest , 18-30's weekends are a playground for grown ups, can't believe they let me go lol, it's a great escapism for any one up to 55 as mentioned above there are a lot of stag and hens for me this is not a bad thing and adds to the atmosphere .

I left my post out of respect for the gentleman of the op couple whom I notice is 68 years old and I am sure would not want to see fighting, urinating and throwing up in public and shouting and screaming untill all hours, as is per norm on these weekends, I would not like them to waste their money, but as I said if this is not a worry for you they can be great fun

this is not strictly true, if someone has a private caravan at butlins then children are allowed on site and to use the facilities, just not allowed into venues at night that then become adult only

I have been to Butlins Minehead for adult only weekends every year for the last 10 years with my group of girly friends...its a well established tradition for us now! (Im the youngest in the group at 29, the oldest is 48).

Expect to see;

Almost everyone in some kind of fancy dress.

There will always be a group of guys all dressed in tutus.

All day drinking.

Lots of d*unken debauchery and casual nudity.

Tonnes of hen and stag parties.

We always find it a good giggle, great atmosphere, and everyone is generally super friendly, everyone chats to everyone. You do get a few d*unken idiots, but ive never seen any serious trouble or fights.

There are a couple of different stages with various acts lined up and the dancefloors are always busy, a bar that tends to do karaoke, a club that stays open the latest that always smells slightly of sweat and vomit, a pub that does a nice Sunday carvery, a bar that does bingo in the day, a sportsbar, a tesco just up the road for stocking up, onsite shops to get your glow sticks and accessories, a fairground bit ive never trusted to use, and the swimming pool is usually really quiet.

...basically its a cheap weekend away, predominantly attracting people that drink, dance and party all weekend, in fancy dress.

Jools went to one in Bognor last year.

She enjoyed it, but didn't get a sniff of cock.

Fact she went with her work cronies who are not exactly lookers didn't help.
