I'm a huge fan, totally gutted. He's my favourite author. I just hope he got to go on his terms

I was talking to him last year at a book event, he was looking forward to making his films.

Shame he won't get to see them.

RIP Sir Terry Pratchett.

RIP to an amazing author, just re-read pretty much all of the discworld books (some for the umpteenth time).

Sad in many ways.

Loved his books. I did think he was mad though...in a good way. The world will need more of 'his special brand of madness' now...

RIP to a fantastic, fun amazing guy, love his books. Have all the Discworld novels and can reread them and still ind something else in there to laugh at.

Witches abroad should never be read in public, well not by me anyway. The looks you get from people when you laugh out loud. .

Rip

I've set aside the book I was reading, and picked up the first Pratchett I ever read - Hogfather

He is now having a good Bentinck's Very Old Peculiar Brandy in a deckchair in Death's Domain; hopefully living a better life then the last few years.. RIP

I'm sure we knew it was likely to come sooner or later, but it was disheartening news. I've been re-reading a few of the Diskworld books recently (Finished Thief of Time the day I read the news).

We've lost a clever, witty and creative mind and that's always sad.
