Are swingers sex addicts?

Swinging can be associated with sex addiction. Having multiple partners alone is one sign of sex addiction. Also characteristic of sex addiction are sexual behaviors that lead to feelings emptiness and craving for more, both of while are highly possible while swinging. And although swingers claim that swapping partners strengthens a relationship bond, the practice lends itself to repetition and a cycle of addiction. What is your view point on this issue?

I wouldn't say it necessarily makes you a sex addict. It is more of a lifestyle to me, making friends along the way and occasionally getting laid. If you are addicted to sex and do not have a regular partner, there are workers who specialise in taking care of your needs

Depends on the reason for wanking, what your thoughts are leading up to it, if there is a trigger that makes you wank/act out etc

I suppose I just enjoy the end result, but it's not a solution to any problem other than it's free and I live alone. If there were any underlying problems, then I'm sure a wank wouldn't suffice in identifying them
