We've just had a message saying hi, they liked our profile, would love to chat, have a look at our profile and let us know. We go to have a look at their profile only to find we are blocked...

What's all that about? xx

Can you block someone by accident ?

Odd. Sounds like they wanted you to know you are blocked.

Just in case you didn't know, they can unblock you, mail you and then block you again so you can't reply.

But you can block them from the mail they sent you, so they won't be able to do that.

Chin up. There are nice people on here too.

"Can you block someone by accident ?"

Good point, yes you can. It doesn't come up with a warning message on the desktop site.

Ooops they may not be nutters after all.

We had a message saying something similar and before we even read it the user was no longer on site. Such is the power of my evil glare

I would put it down to experience, we have all had a few of those i'm sure, but reading your profile it is definatly their loss

could be a mistake - the block button is the easiest one to do by accident - think it should have a confirm button
