need the inner bits to be stimulated to gush/squirt in the first instance - his fingers do the job best so i guess a rabbit is better for that - my first squirt was with a rabbit - the wand is powerful and the only toy i really use (not a huge fan of them at all) for a quick fix

I don't know about making them squirt with toys, but if you hit the right spot from the right angle during sex that should do the trick!

From my experience you get the girls who squirt during sex when they cum, and the ones who just orgasm/cum. For the ones who typically just orgasm/cum, I find penetrating them from different angles makes them squirt (not that I've tried making them squirt on purpose).
