Up on them there hills

We're having new carpets fitted through out the house.

Yesterday got up early to remove the old one, carpet fitters due at 10 am.

Went to move the car to make room, the exhaust had dropped, bush had split.

Fitters phoned to say that would not be arriving 'til 1 pm.

Arrived and the estimator had calculated the main carpet one metre short.

Fitting upstairs and they stapled the house alarm cable.

Bit annoyed I dropped one of the T.V.'s and broke the A.V adaptor.

Today I mended the exhaust, tonight with no T.V. well, we will have to find something to amuse our selves with.

No cloud on this silver lining.
