Have you ever been close to meeting anyone and you've been put off ?

I just experienced my first one where I feel it was all too forced.... now feeling abit low for saying it's not for me!

Yeah lots of times

I've agreed to meet a few men then told them after I have changed my mind because they have said something after I have agreed to meet that has made me think twice

My safety comes first I'm a single women meeting stranger off sex sites if I'm not 100% sure I don't do it, I have the rights to change my mind at any point

Yeah. Main one i can think of is a guy that left the site without a word just as we were about to meet up, we used to chat all the time as well, not heard anything from him for two months. He makes a new account, we say hi, he expects me to prioritise him on here again. Nope, and not interested in meeting him either.

And yeah sometimes i really like someone, but donb't find them phyusically attractive and have planned a meet with them then gone off it.

Also, some guys i enjoyed spending time with i've gone off because they only speak when they want something, and weren't that good in bed either so meh to these guys.

I don't feel bad. I wanna enjoy this site and i do.

Yep, one guy off here and one guy on a dating site when I was single.

On here: We were really interested in meeting a guy who then fucked it up by d*unk texting, basically asking us to drive to London to collect him after a night out, taking him back to our's for sex, and then driving him 1.5hrs home. He basically thought we could be used as a free lift home that night but also said some pretty stupid shit inbetween.

Dating site: Had been chatting to this guy for ages, got on really well, seemed to be on eachother's wavelength, could have a laugh.

We agreed to meet up only for him to then very suddenly fly off the handle and become abusive when I couldn't do the first date/time he mentioned. - Apparently I was being awkward and wasting his time... He then tried to contact me again a week later to try and arrange a meet again...

Told that schizophrenic to go fuck himself!

Dw OP, it happens. Regularly! I listen to my intuition a lot, and judging by certain reactions and the way they structure messages Im usually right. Please don't feel bad, this is a fun site but you can't have fun if you aren't comfortable xx

You shouldn't feel low for doing it, trust your gut instinct, if something isn't right then don't do it, maybe politely explain to the guy that the time is not right, and maybe a meet will happen some other time down the line, or maybe not.

if you havent got a good gut feeling about it beforehand you certainly wont enjoy the meet - you wont be relaxed for one thing - dont feel down about it - feel good about yourself for strength of character xx

I've had a couple of meets where I've turned up and realised I got it wrong, but I didn't have the nerve to walk away. I only do socials first now. You did the right thing

better be safe than sorry, when I had arranged to meet someone he send me a text message which put me off and i didn't feel i wanted to meet him but i did anyway and it was a mistake which i regreted making. Trouble is you meet lots of men who are ok then you become complacent and think they are going to be all like that.
