...when I use the forums I tend not to search much for a potential meet,

the forum in 'general' has a good atmosphere and I feel that I would rather meet the people that swap banter on here with, the general feeling I get from a lot of non forum users is they either expect people to jump through hoops OR just browse when they're bored and don't have a clue what they want from this site..nor how it works..

I use the forum mainly as light entertainment. There have on occasions been forum users that have caught my eye but that is extremely rare. I have met mostly non forum users and find them nothing like you describe.

Second only to going to socials and events, I've found that using the forums is the best way both to find and be found on here. Since starting using them more, about 3 months ago, I've had so much more fun.

I can't remember why I started using the forums. I have met a few men because they saw me on the forums and messaged me. One was from the face pic Friday game. You do warm to people on the forums I will admit but my meets are from non users of the forums mostly

What I love is the banter, the daftness and the sometimes sheer idiocy of the place.

Yes occasionally theres confusion, someone unfortunately takes something the wrong way, a dummy needs picking up.

BUT generally theres no real harm done.

Personalities comes through, styles, quirks, likes, dislikes, etc.

Hell! Someones even stolen my Dragon

There's always something to talk about, laugh at, cry at (tissue Tina?) but we all come back every day to do it all again

Now wheres that bloody Dragon - my bath waters freezing!

I just use fab for the forum really. I don't put much effort into getting meets, as I am too busy with bodybuilding, it passes the time between meal times and as well when I am down at the gym

Love the diversity of people, the broad spread of personalities and general craziness that everyone brings to the party.

I like the forums mainly for the banter the flirt and sillyness and odd drama....I don't use faceache very much or really watch television so it entertains me.....there are a lot of forum users I'd like to meet for various reasons, mostly because I'd like to see if they're how I imagine them to be in the flesh...we, or I at least form characters of you all in my psyche and want to know how close I am to the truth....

Many of the guys I'd happily have a sit down and a beer with (recent tee totalism aside) many of the ladies, couples and our trans members too in fact I'd go a night on the tiles with...

Some I feel I'd be able to have a howling laugh with...

There is a small section of the ladies I'd absolutely love to meet for fun, one or two couples, and a tv/ts or two aswell these days for good measure.....

I love the forums, can't remember how I came about to finding it but I spend more time on them than messaging people.

I did consider leaving fab a while back due to not meeting people (lack of time) but stayed because I'd miss coming in the forum.

This is it....everyone on here is so widespread that the actual logistics of meeting aren't all that easy which is a bit of a bummer...be nice at times to just call on a fellow forumite to go do something with but from penge to paisley, or Aberdeen to anglesea is a bloody pest....

I'd agree - the majority of any meets for me will be forum users. Feels far more natural meeting/sleeping with someone you've got to know on the forums over a long period. Feels like you're meeting someone who's already a good friend! Surely that must make the sex far better too? That's how I see it anyway!

For me its the same - that "click" is already there.

Theres a post on another thread along the lines of "men will sleep with anyone on here but not in real life"

Perhaps I'm weird - but if I wouldn't sleep with you in real life - I sure as hell am not going to in here either!

The advantage of the forums is you have that banter, humour, subject matter and it follows over in to messaging and away from here.

I think people's comments in forums are a lot more telling than their profiles and that's why I love it.

As mentioned, there are a few people here who I'd like to meet, have a drink with or have a night out with as they seem like my kind of people.

I love the mix of banter and debate I get from here.

We have met the odd person now and again from the forum but more by luck than judgement .

To be honest we are on fab for meeting people and having fun , and the forums are our 'social' swinging I guess .

The suggestion that those not on the forum are not going to be as good as those that are is a joke .

We have spoken to loads of people who say that the forums are clicky and full of self opinionated twats and that's why they don't use them . We don't think this is the case ( well not always anyway lol ) but can understand those who think this way .

There are good and bad bits about the forums.

Mainly good so I shall concentrate on that.

I like the forums and the people on them die to keeping me company on a lonely night, the laughs, the banter, the games. I haven't some truly great friends from the forum and look forward to meeting more

To be honest we are on fab for meeting people and having fun , and the forums are our 'social' swinging I guess .

The suggestion that those not on the forum are not going to be as good as those that are is a joke .

We have spoken to loads of people who say that the forums are clicky and full of self opinionated twats and that's why they don't use them . We don't think this is the case ( well not always anyway lol ) but can understand those who think this way .

Don't think anyone is suggesting non-forum users are inferior, not me anyway. The vast majority of those I've met on here never use them.

I'd agree - the majority of any meets for me will be forum users. Feels far more natural meeting/sleeping with someone you've got to know on the forums over a long period. Feels like you're meeting someone who's already a good friend! Surely that must make the sex far better too? That's how I see it anyway!

For me that happens away from the forum far more often than with someone from the forum. "

I've met one or two in this thread already, I'm meeting one regularly now.

There is ONE other Northern woman with a "craic" in her head (only she will get this joke) in this thread who I'd like to meet, but other than that there is literally nobody on these forums I'd meet (that I haven't met already).

Fab is a huge place...less than 1% use these forums and to say there are no decent people outside of these forums is what I used to think...till I actually opened my fucking eyes.

I love the cross section of people that use the forum, some you will dislike, some you won't, some become very good friends.

I think I'm about the longest forum user and I've seen plenty of comings and goings, I remember when some of the established regulars when they where newbies.

Some days are a real laugh when everyone is on forum and some days are boring.

I don't watch much television so use it as entertainment.

BUT what I have seen over the years when someone is having a difficult time how everyone comes together.

I also like people sharing there good news and updates on things going off and I've even managed to shag a few

I stumbled across the forum not long after we joined, have posted a few things here and there (and managed to engage a filter in the nick of time to stop me posting a few things here and there!), and love the chit chat on here!

The majority of people we chat to though never use the forums, we'd be missing out on a hell of a lot of fun if we limited our interest to forum users...despite how wonderful you all are

I only received my first ever message from a forumite yesterday though, which was lovely, kinda made me feel all nice and that

I've not considered using the forum as a hunting ground. I tend to use it as a forum. Maybe I should change that and stop writing nonsense? No. I love nonsense too much.
