I'm sure this has been covered before but..

I've been chatting to a woman for a few days and she seems nice.

She's just posted a verification from a 22 year old (she's 40). This has kind of put me off possibly as I have a son of a similar age.

It also makes me wonder why she's interested in me as I'm 40, unless she likes variety of course. Maybe it's just feeding my insecurites.

Should I just be cool about it and enjoy her attention?

It's all a question of preference though. Doesn't change who she is , because she met a younger guy. There are 22 year olds who are more mature than some 50 year olds. To me it's the person and their attitude to life rather than an age thing.

I too sometimes question why "younger" want yo meet me, as most of the time it's so I can be a social experiment or in their words " teach" them . Those who I have met that are genuine I suppose I am still questioning why they wanna meet me but it has been fun

Sorry to disappoint but I'm not protecting anyone - if you could explain why you should think that I would be very grateful. I for one don't think that women need protecting on these threads.

Perhaps in future when you start a thread you could define who you would like to contribute and what you would like them to say. In this case you claim you were carrying out a social experiment. If you were then you should be pleased - you have a result and at the same time shown us all a little more about your character.
