No bloody way. I maybe sub (to women only) but there is no way I'd sign a contract as it's actually all on my terms.

I know a few who have done exactly this.....and there are many many others. It is quite normal in the fet/bdsm scene. Not my bag...but I know several (on and off here) for whom this is normal.

And some of them would eat Christian Grey for breakfast.

I think it works as a way to outline the boundaries of a 'relationship'.

But as an actual contract it is not worth the paper...

"Yes but for me it would make it more kinky and horny "

I suppose you could use it as a kinda 'prop' during role play. Is that what you mean?

Mrs Dirty could only be sub to a Domme.

Mr Ch33ky's TV persona could be sub to a woman or a could.

Not sure about the contract but never say never

I have used written contracts before, but absolutely not based on any of the drivel in 50 shades of shite

"I would. Provided I was allowed to change some things. "

The contract is a negotiation, you get to change anything you want, contracts can be subsequently re-negotiated, temporarily suspended, or annulled unilaterally.

50 shades has so much to answer for with respect to it's totally misconceived propositions about BDSM, not to mention it's crimes against literacy or copyright infringement and passing off.

We are a Dom/Sub couple, live the lifestyle 24/7, i have been collared for 5 years now, never have had the need to have a contract, we know others who have and it works for them.

The FSOG books and films are very lighthearted compared to what we and others get up to.

It's not so much the lightweight/lightheartedness of them, it's the plain out and out misrepresentation and in some instances unsafe practices.

People will get a completely erroneous impression of what BDSM is from the books.

And it further irritates that a barely literate person can write such shoddily composed bollocks, stealing ideas from other works and passing them off as her own, and make shed loads of money from such crap.

Still, each to their own. No-one is forcing anyone to read and like the books, though it's a sad indictment on the level of literary discernment amongst the majority of the population. After all, the Sun is the most widely read newspaper. Says it all really
