... the ultimate test of if someone is 100% honest about their relationship status?

We find it incredibly hard to get guys to meet on saturday evenings. It's a great evening for us, but boy, it's hard work. Surely with free reign as to future dates, guys could manage it if they were really that interested?

And don't even ask about how hard it was to meet on Valentines Day hahahaha

well that didn't take long for the white knight to appear.... is that a record???

seriously though... before my current job(s) saturday evenings were always awkward as i did finish until late... or had to work early on a sunday morning...

so bear in mind not everyone works the conventional mon-fri 9-5 lark.....

now i have my weekends back... it still feels strange

I have my children on alternate weekends so that takes care of half my Friday and Saturday nights.

I've actually got them this week too.

Of my remaining free Saturdays I am occaisionally called upon to provide DJ services.

None of the above restrictions to my availability on a Saturday evening makes me any less single than I am - it just means that I have other things in my life demanding of my time.

There are so many other things to do on a Saturday night .

As previously mentioned many guys have their kkids at the weekend .

Work commitments .

Night out with mates .

Oh and of course an evening with the wife / girlfriend may be part of the reason too

There are so many other things to do on a Saturday night .

As previously mentioned many guys have their kkids at the weekend .

Work commitments .

Night out with mates .

nope when not working normally free unless prearraged social with not so deviant friend.

I find spontaneose is a no go fir anytime in weekend, unless you planned something in advance forget it.

Also have to remember weekends are normally premium days for being with family or catching up with old buddies....... Or just crashing out exhausted...

I work every Sat night on the Railways, that's when most of the work is done up and down the country, I have had 1 Sat night off in the last 3 years!! (The money is good though !)

I always found a Saturday night out at a club such as Partners was always a great evening!

I was always pleased at how busy the place was with such a good cross section of folks.

I don't know about anyone else but my Saturdays are taken up with access to my daughter. She comes over nearly every weekend and stays over at my place. yes, it's sounding like an excuse but I love seeing her.

Had to fight long and hard for this so swingin now takes a back seat.

Saturday nights can be difficult because all the club nights are couples or single women!

I've had problems trying to meet on a Saturday night so it's not like there's loads of women and couples unable to meet because all the men can't come out!

I have my kids most weekends and as much as Id love to meet somebody nothing gets in the way of time with my kids , there are the odd free weekend though so , some people think I'm a timewaster because of this ??

Saturdays are the boys night out nights. Fridays and week nights are popular but they tend to be tired after work and fall asleep. I like a Sunday evening meet because they were out the night before,have slept all day,woke up horny and full of life. Unless they had a really mad Saturday night. I do hate being squeezed in between work and friends but people have lives.

And I agree about Valentines Day. Loads of couples were not available to meet on that day either funnily enough. Damned inconsiderate of them because I was available so they should have been too.

This is interesting as what you are basically saying is that for you swinging is a thing to be put after other social events. For many people - us included, it's equal.

So, if your view is that a piss up is better than an evening swinging...

Swinging is fun. Sex is fun! But my family and friends matter to me more than swinging does. I don't think that makes me look bad. It's a matter of prioritising.

As I get older, I don't get to see my friends as much as I'd like to, so if I have a choice of seeing them and the only day they are free is on a Saturday, then that's what I'm more likely to do.

It does mean that swinging has to take a back seat sometimes, but that's the way it goes.

Why does that make him look bad? You're a couple, and if you have friends in the scene then by swinging you're spending time with your friends and partner. A single person whose friends aren't in the scene is in a different position. A piss up with friends, what's so bad about that? Plenty of people prioritise other aspects of their lives above swinging (family, work, children, sporting hobbies), why on earth should they be criticised for that?
