Why do I bother

In the 18 months on this site I have sent out a lot of first messages, I got a lot of knock backs and even more no replys.

I experimented with different ways of making the initial approach and tweaked my profile.

When I did get a reply I tried to be myself, I'm lucky in that im a light hearted cheeky individual, I found that humour and sauciness were a good combination.

I made sure I didn't have any widgie pictures on my profile, preferring clear portrait and full body pictures. Keeping the saucy ones strictly for friends.

I short i tried to portray myself as I really am, a nice guy that likes a laugh and some slap and tickle.

And do you know what, it works, I don't get women falling at my feet but I do get a positive response and I have met some fantastic ladies and had a great time.

Well your profile says your just here to chat, and that you won't chat if there are no pics on the ladies profile.

Well I'm stumped I can't see where your going wrong either

Think most people want to see some pics rather than just a black shadow. And I never like to say too much on my profile cause it is just chat initially.

You do realise there are probably 100 men to every woman here.

You do also realise that most women get inundated by messages from all those men.

Many of those messages are just requests asking for a fuck.

If you want to improve your chances make yourself stand out, have a personality be funny.

Make women want to talk to you, by being good to talk to.

Well that may be true but I know that I don't really get a chance to make myself funny or easy to talk to as most messages get deleted lol

The profiles that have nothing on them...well compare that to my profile. I have a wide variety of pics so people can have an idea of whether or not they fancy me, i change my profile words regularly so that people have something to start a conversation from.

Honestly your profile i've no idea wether or not i fancy you, i would instantly ignore and carry on chatting to the guys who have something to say and have pics (or sent private ones) and i know i fancy them.

Your status would give me something to talk about actuyally, i'd ask like what's going on tomorrow that your looking forward to, but only if i'd seen pics and they attracted me.

Women get so many messages they can be very, very choosy and will be choosy. Can't talk to everyone and am always desperate to delete as many people out my inbox as possible to keep it tidy, yours would be a delete.

Might be cos you got a picture of your arse and ballsack as your profile pic buddy, women are strange things most of them would rather see your face, who'd of thought it.

That's fine. Just saying there's nothing to go off, don't know if you are into the same stuff as me or looking for something in particular?

I just came back to add that i do even not reply to a lot of guys i do find attractive as well, just coz i haven't got the time or inclination (because i can't meet everyone, although i give it a good try haha).

Glad you are having fun.

Fab works for me. Never inundated, but have met and made some good friends. Always room for a few more, though!

I haven't been successful this time around on fab but know it's down to a few factors, like being attached, not showing my face in public pics and not accommodating. When I was on here as a singleton all I did was put effort into my profile, chatted to people on forums and made a few friends by being myself and patient

You get out what you put in, it isn't easy and women don't fall at your feet, but that doesn't happen for most men in real life either.

At least here there is no pretence, most people are here because they want a sexual relationship

The OP's profile seems relaxed and friendly, and most importantly, positive and not full of complaints.

I would probably chat more to guys with similar profiles.

At the moment we're struggling to meet other couples, but we know the problem there is that our time is restricted, so a lot of our recent meets have been single guys.

It's something we hope to solve soon, it would be nice to play with couples or get to the club again
