So whilst chatting with a friend regarding condoms the following thought crossed my mind:

Why do guys show up to meets without them?

I can only guess the following reasons a guy doesn't come prepared - he can only be assuming one of 4 things:

A. We're not going to play. (what guy is going to assume that!!!!)

B. I'll bring them (now that's just lazy, if he wants to stick his cock in me he should be prepared)

C. He's looking for a quick blow job (wishful thinking)

D. He's hoping for bareback ( and that's not gonna happen!!!)

I generally come prepared but if he's going to buy them i have a preference so he might as well buy the ones i like.

and if hosting a party I make sure there is a selection on either side of the play bed plus some in the spare room, but I also tell guests to bring their own favourite brand/size as well

I guess I'm still a bit naive, if I agree to meet socially, I wouldn't have any expectations of it going further. That said, experience has taught me over time that, if we hit it off, which is nearly allways the case, we end up having sex, so I'm always prepared, condoms stashed in my wallet, pockets, car lol. Point is, my initial assumption would be just a chat and coffee/drink. If it happens, more the better.

Firstly we seldom do meets only clubs. We don't really carry around a clutch bag that we use for toys, condoms and lube. I usually pick condoms up and put them in my pocket before we leave. Annoyingly I sometimes forget sometimes the other half reminds me. I've never done it for the reasons the OP stated!

I've never had a guy forget to bring condoms but if he did it wouldn't be a problem as I normally have some anyway. If I had a brand preference then I wouldn't expect the guy to provide them at all. I really don't think I'd make a big issue out of it unless he refused to wear one.

I take my own as they are the right size for me. We can all be forgetful when we are nervous and excited, but I have found that if I keep a few in the car, I am never without. Likewise, if you have a preference say for latex free or a particular brand, have those available.

I always have my own stash with me the only person who is going to properly look out for my sexual health is me so i am always prepared.

If you are worried about expiry dates, you arent getting enough
